The information that you provide to the ScaleUpVic will be treated as Commercial-in-Confidence. That is, the information that you provide to us will only be used: to arrange and deliver small business mentoring; to improve the quality of the small business mentoring service; and to determine your satisfaction with the service.
ScaleUpVic provides your business and personal information to the Department of Jobs, Transport and Resources (DJTR), which subsidises this service. DJTR stores your information on its databases and the information is accessed by DJTR staff to assess service quality, for statistical information and reporting. Your contact information is also provided to market researchers contracted by the Victorian Government who will contact you to participate in a client satisfaction survey. Contact information provided to the contracted market researchers is for use in the survey only.
DJTR collects, stores, uses and discloses information in accordance with the information Privacy Act 2000 and the Information Privacy Principles in the Act. For more information go to www.business.vic.gov.au and click on “Privacy”.
Other than for the above purposes, no information identifying you or your business will be provided to any third party unless required by law. No data identifying a client or their business or details about their business has been, or will be, sold to third parties whatsoever. Before joining the ScaleUpVic all mentors must sign a Code of Ethics which contains a strict confidentiality clause.
